Integrated OR BrainSuite® iCT

BrainSUITE® iCT is one of the highlights of the new seven BGU operation theatres. The fully integrated operation theatre is unique in Hessen. The networking of navigation system, microscope, image intensifier, CT, electrophysiological data, and radiological images from the internal database provide the surgeon with a wide range of detailed information and allow technically demanding surgeries on the highest level of safety. The use of an X-ray translucent table ensures images of high quality.

BrainSUITE® iCT allows intra-operative CT scanning. The image data can be transferred electronically into the patient file afterwards. Furthermore, doctors-in-training and visiting doctors from abroad may attend surgeries displayed on embedded HD-screens on the walls for training purpose.
